From Brandon Vogt, a layman: The Thin Veil: 3 Keys to Pope Benedict's Legacy: By now, you've likely heard the big news that Pope Benedict XVI is retiring on February 28. I was recently asked to share my thoughts on the Pope's legacy in 300 words or less. Here's what I wrote....
From Fr. Sean Coyle, a Columban missionary, who lives in the Philippines: Bangor to Bobbio: Pope Benedict: 'I declare that I renounce the ministry of Bishop of Rome'.
